The green block

In the production of Legioblocks, secondary raw materials are processed, which are obtained from recycled mineral raw materials, which means that these secondary raw materials remain in the production chain in a responsible manner. This production process produces significantly lower CO 2 emissions, compared to the production of traditional concrete

The Legioblocks are recyclable stacking blocks and meet the quality criteria laid down in the certificates issued for them, such as the CE performance declaration and the CPR and BSB certificates issued by KIWA. Because the composition is based on secondary raw materials, marginal deviations cannot be ruled out.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the CO2 equivalent?
This is a unit of measure for the effect of different greenhouse gases on the climate. By converting the various emissions into the equivalent amount of carbon dioxide (CO2), the effects of the products can be compared with each other.

What is the Environmental Cost Indicator (ECI)?
The Environmental Cost Indicator (ECI) is a suitable criterion for incorporating sustainability in tenders. The ECI is calculated based on a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), an internationally recognized scientific method to quantify and compare environmental performance.

What does TRI mean?
This stands for thermal cleaning. The sand and gravel released after processing are used as construction and/or raw materials after certification.

What does ERI mean?
This stands for extractive soil cleaning. In this process, contaminants attach to a sludge fraction that is separated from a clean sand fraction.
