Rock structure with multifunctional uses
From a financial perspective, they used a standard construction product: the stackable interlocking concrete blocks by Legioblock. The concrete variant of the classic lego block forms the basis of the 200 metres long sound barrier. The concept for the eventual design combines a number of different functions and aspects.
The side facing the scouting consists of a continuous rock structure, in which each rock comes equipped with a screw hole. This can be used to install hooks, rings and bolts, which can be then be used for a number of scouting activities. In addition to its sound-resisting capacity, it also provides the members of Scouting Stratum with a range of other possible uses.
