Deutsche Bahn was looking for a solution towards reinforcing the track ramps in the hilly area around the railway track at Horf am Neckar. Legioblock successfully took on this challenge by installing a retaining wall constructed from stackable, concrete blocks.

In addition, the railway company aims to promote sustainable mobility in Germany and beyond.
Within the framework of Deutsche Bahn’s project, around 3000 stackable concrete blocks with a width of 120 centimetres were used as construction materials for reinforcing ramps in hilly terrain. The blocks were positioned at a 10-degree angle in order to guarantee the stability of the ramps and to provide a safe infrastructure within the railway network.
