Both the height and size of the storage bays can be adjusted
In 2010 the Port decided to completely renovate the transhipment point for bulk goods on Ile Napoléon. The existing storage spaces consisted of deeply anchored I-girders with impregnated bulkheads. As a result of a new supply of products such as clay, wood, iron ore and bark, there was an urgent need to expand. They started looking for a solution that was better attuned to the qualitative and quantitative fluctuations in supply. The new transhipment point needed to be implemented in stages. For this reason they chose the Legioblock construction system: a flexible solution which allows the adjustment of the height and size of the storage spaces at any given time.
